It acknowledges the grief felt by families and friends remembering those who have died or suffered an injury as a result of a drug overdose. IOAD is the world’s largest annual campaign to end overdose. Whether or not you know someone who uses substances, initiating conversations with others can help increase awareness and decrease the stigma that may deter people from seeking assistance.
