Celebrating 50 Years of Resilience
On May 28, we will gather at The Reach Gallery to celebrate a remarkable milestone: 50 years of SARA for Women. What began as a small group of dedicated individuals advocating for women’s safety has grown into a trusted organization that now provides safe housing, outreach, trauma-informed care, and essential resources for hundreds of women and children across the Fraser Valley each year.
For five decades, SARA for Women has stood as a beacon of support, action, resources, and advocacy. Through every shelter opened, every child comforted, and every woman empowered, we have remained deeply committed to our vision: a world where all women and children are safe, respected, and free from violence.
Our 50th anniversary event, Celebrating 50 Years of Resilience, is now officially sold out, a powerful reflection of how much this work is valued and how deeply our community cares.
